  • Ingredients

  • 1 round of good quality French Camembert

  • Sprinkle of fresh thyme leaves

  • Sprinkle of chilli flakes

  • Drizzle of olive oil (around 2 teaspoons)


Frances’ gift to the world; cheese and wine. It doesn’t get much better than this warm and gooey delight. Just 2 minutes to prepare, into the oven, and let the salivating begin!

Pairs well with …..

Sliced toasted French baguette and sliced apple or dried apricots.

Hints and tips:

Try goats cheese with honey baked figs as an alternative.

Preheat your grill (broiler) to a very hot setting.

Place the cheese on a foiled baking tray

Sprinkle the thyme leaves and chilli flakes on top and drizzle a little olive oil.

Grill (broil) until the edges start to brown and cheese is very soft and runny and collapsing in the middle (about 5 – 10 minutes).
