  • 500 grams (1 pound) beef mince

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground coriander (cilantro)

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin

  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground chilli

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon sea salt flakes

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground

  • 1/2 tablespoon cornflour (cornstarch)

  • 1 cup beef stock (broth)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Taco Shells

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 2 cups tasty cheese, grated

Hints and tips:

Double or triple the seasoning quantities and place in a zip lock bag for the next meal.

Heat olive oil in to medium heat in a saucepan, and beef and cook for 5 minutes, browning all over and breaking any lumps.

Add Seasoning and stir for half a minute and sprinkle over cornflour. Stir again and then add beef stock.

Bring to the boil and reduce heat, simmering uncovered, for 10 minutes.

To serve, heat taco shells according to packet directions. Spoon beef into tacos with cheese, guacamole and sour cream.
