Hints and tips:
The oysters and Bloody Mary are best served really chilled. If you have time, make it ahead and chill in the refrigerator. Don’t feel shy about adding more vodka.
For the Bloody Mary, combine the vodka, tomato juice, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, celery salt and Tabasco.
Arrange the oysters on a tray, sitting on a bed of crushed ice or rock salt.
Combine the diced celery and tomato and place a little on each oyster with a sprinkle of coriander. Drizzle a little of the Bloody Mary drink on each oyster and serve.
Alternatively, pour the Bloody Mary into shot glasses. Serve the oysters and chase it down with a shot of Bloody Mary.
Note: To achieve a nice chilled Bloody Mary, stir with ice cubes in a large jug and strain into a second jug.
